H edgehogs can get through a 4” gap, but so can some cats. This cat, a stray, had a spinal deformity and latterly went blind in one eye. In spite of that she showed a steely determination to outwit me, in which she was entirely successful. Not only could she get in, she could reverse out. I finally defeated her “knavish tricks” with a couple of strategically placed rocks. Hedgehogs walk round them but they obstruct a cat's approach crawl. I had yet to think of this master plan when this video was recorded.
