LINKLATER FAMILY
This way genealogy. There is a lot here about my grandfather, Captain Arthur David Linklater or ‘Dum’ as he was known in the family, and about his father James Stevens Linklater and Herm under his ownership. British Princess, the barque on which Dum trained, is used ‘iconically’ to represent ‘the family.’ None the less, navigation can be tricky.
LINKLATER ORKNEY
Since all Linklaters originated in Orkney, or so I am told, looking into my family history has inevitably led me to amass a great deal of information about Orkney and its history. This section contains much of it and is thus less family, more place.
