EVELYN: Annie married a man called Williams, who was, I believe, a veterinary surgeon. We never kew him. Mother liked her when they were young - she was the youngest of Uncle John's family and nearest her own age - and found her a vivacious companion. Mother said she was rather bold but good company. She had three children; Roland who became a doctor and lived in Salisbury, Rhodesia. He married and may have descendants, but he died of the terrible influenza in the epidemic of 1918- 19. Teddy also died young. Mother was very fond of him when he was a child. He used to call her ‘May-Belle’. Then there was Joan (Baby), who married very young and left her husband for another man whom she ultimately married. She is probably still alive and may have children. They were (except the boys) rather a predatory lot and I think better left in limbo!
